The "Junior Bulletin" of the New Jersey Academy of Science
                                

Are you a high school researcher or undergraduate student who has completed an in-depth research project and would like to share it with the scientific community?  If so, please consider submitting your work as part of the Bulletin of the New Jersey Academy of Science.  We are looking for original research submitted as a manuscript.  Please see the guidelines (author's guidelines). 

There is a publication fee of $400 for non-NJAS members and $200 for NJAS members.  NJAS may be able to assist with the cost of the publication fee based on the Bulletin budget.  

The following guidelines are important for authors...

- All research must be original work and any use of AI must be clearly stated with no exceptions.
- An advisor must be included in the registration and included as a co-author.  They could be named corresponding author if desired. 
- If the research is conducted by a team, all team members must agree to submit the manuscript for publication.  
- All manuscripts that are initially reviewed by the managing editor, and sent for review will be conducted under a blind review by a minimum of two reviewers.
- All reviewer's decisions will be final with outcomes as listed (accepted with minor edits, provisionally accepted with major edits, and declined).
- If the reviewers decide with a difference of opinion, the final decision will be made by the Editor-in-Chief and/or the managing editor. 
- The research was not published in another journal or excerpts of the project cannot be published in a different journal. 
- Any research conducted in a school lab, research facility, college lab, etc., must be obtain approval for the research to be published.
